Next week Triple-Major will have its new nomad store opened at Weltenbuerger, Los Angeles.

Triple-Major, a creative studio and concept store based in Beijing, will launch a two week "Nomad Store" in Los Angeles, bringing avant-garde and lesser known designers from around the world to Weltenbuerger LA. This endeavor will be the third stop in the Triple-Major Nomad Store's traveling tour, bringing global avant-garde designers to different cities in a sporadic retail experiment. The traveling project will include a mix of established international talents such as Fabrics Interseason, Patrik Ervell and Pelican Avenue as well as experimental designers Anntian, Daniel Palillo, Mundi and Rozalb de Mura.

The Nomad Store will be up from July 29th to August 14th.

Next week Triple-Major will present its first collection at Paris Fashion Week for AW 2011. "Triple-Major World," the first issue of Triple-Major's house line finds inspiration from video games, food, grammar and other typically disregarded motifs from everyday life. The collection, as well as all of Triple-Major's efforts, is a collaborative effort of friends from Beijing, New York and Los Angeles.

This week on December 30th in Beijing, Triple-Major will host a book-signing and talk by Facehunter author and style blogger Yvan Rodic at the Beijing Come & Go Center for Art. Jian Cui, media veteran and artist, will also be present as a guest speaker. The event runs fom 7-9PM at 46 Fangjia Hutong, Dongcheng District, Beijing.

On January 2nd, Facehunter will unveil a photo exhibition which runs until January 19th at Triple Major. The opening reception and book-signing will be on January 2nd from 8-10PM.

Triple-Major is launching a 7 day nomad store at ilivetomorrow gallery in Hong Kong next Tuesday. The nomad store will bring a mix of established international talents such as Fabrics Interseason, Patrik Ervell, Pelican Avenue and experimental designers Anntian, Daniel Palillo, Mundi and Rozalb de Mura to Hong Kong for one week. This endeavor will be the first stop in Triple-Major's Nomad Store traveling tour.

Each nomad store will appropriate local elements and attempt to fit its local environment. Inspired by the heavily mass-marketed but disregarded real estate advertisements in Hong Kong, the Triple-Major nomad store will be disguised as a real estate agency papered with real estate flyers. Chinese avant-garde label, ccchu, will also create an installation for the store to showcase their new collection.

The store offers avant-garde designs from international talents as an antidote to mainstream fashion's erosion of individuality. Disguised as a traditional Chinse medicine clinic with acupuncture statues and apothecary chests, Triple-Major is located in an old-style Hutong with the 2nd floor and rooftop dedicated to exhibitions and events.
