Triple-Major Second Anniversary Collaboration (with CRANE)
04/04/2013
Triple-Major is involved in the fashion industry across a wide-spread field with its primary concept being "reinventing popular culture". As a retailer, a fashion label and a creative studio, we aim to challenge the creative limits of fashion and to propose new perspectives on design. When playing the role of retailer, Triple-Major introduces independent and progressive designers to cities where they are rarely represented. Triple-Major was among the first to bring international labels like Anntian, Daniel Palillo, Bless, Henrik Vibskov and many others to China.
Triple-Major Shanghai Opens!
30/03/2013
In September 2012, we opened a new store in Shanghai! It's located on 25 Shaoxing Lu, opening hours are: Tue-Sun 13:00 - 20:00. Ink used in Chinese calligraphy was the fundamental point of departure for the shop's design. We explored the parallel creative process between calligraphy and fashion, both as forms of artistic expression: Thread, through needles, create clothes; clothes, through people, create unique looks; just as ink, through Maobi (Chinese pen), composes caligraphy. Triple-Major acts as an interpretation media between designers and consumers, personifying the designers’ creations for consumers to use as “ink” to comprise their very own “caligraphy of style”.
Triple-Major Collection: Hand Shadow
04/04/2013
“Hand Shadow” is a kind of universal language: it is a symbol that could be understood across culture, nationality, and other boundaries. “Hand Shadow” is also an interesting folk tradition and form of expression: with a simple twist of fingers, it forms a completely different shape, with entirely different meaning. The nature of hand shadow, shares a similar quality with our vision on clothing: as a universal language of expression, and a medium or platform, with a simple twist, might create an extraordinary result.

All brands of this event will bring to the Asiatic costumers not only their collection but also some exclusive creations for Men & Women realized in a team work and inspired by the Italian-French movie “La Grande Bouffe” (1973) In the capsule collection designers use materials with a retrò style, like straw and bright colours for a casual but refined man; whereas for woman they prefer a transparent effect thanks to the use of PVC and organdie.
